IELTS test in Moscow was shared by G. (thank you so much!) and she even remembered the chart in the Writing Task 1. Here is what G reported:
Listening test
Section 1. A telephone conversation between a man, who wants to book a restaurant room for 50 people, and a woman. There were mentioned details such as meal price, type of meal (French, International, Luxury) and some facilities (drinks, flowers, name cards printing), possible discounts, manager surname spelling.
Section 2. Radio program did a review for some TV programs and expressed an opinion about them.
Questions: The task was to write down a letter corresponding to the opinion about a program (A positive, B negative, C neutral). Then there was a table, we had to fill in the gaps a type of program (documentary for example) and what it was about (teenagers, birds, a date).
Section 3. Two students discussed a girl’s work practice in the hotel (in the reception, in the shop, in the cafe).
Questions: The task was to choose her comment about the place: was it tiring, bad organized, too noisy etc.
Section 4. A lecture about fat, diet without fat, what could be a substitute for fat. What people like the most about fat (taste, structure, etc).Questions: multiple choice. Then lecturer described three manufactured products (X,Y,Z), which could replace fat. We had to choose the right features for each product from the list (marine product, reduces risk of heart disease, increases blood pressure, etc).
Reading test
Passage 1. Transport facilities in remote areas in developing countries with a picture of bike cart.
Questions: True/False/Not Given, filling in the gaps.
Passage 2. A text about air space division into sectors and about establishing new organization to control traveling.
Questions: Matching headings to paragraphs, Yes/No/Not Given.
Passage 3. Passage refers to atavism in animal world.
Questions: multiple choice.
Writing test
Writing task 1 (a report)
There was a bar graph showing an average amount of children born to one woman in 1970 and 2000 in 5 different countries.
Writing task 2 (an essay)
International travel influences individuals as well as the countries they visit. Do advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
