The chart below shows the percentage of migrants to Australia from six different regions in 1987 and 1997.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Writing task 2 (an essay)
It is important to give children the chance to act independently and make their own decisions from early age. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.
