IELTS test in Iran – February 2010 (Academic Module)

IELTS test in Iran was shared by S. (thank you!) and here is what we know:

Listening test

Section1: a woman talking to her daughter’s teacher about arranging her classes.

Questions: multiple choice, sentence completion and information matching.

Section 2: someone was talking to tourists.

Questions: multiple choice, sentence completion and information matching.

Section 3: two students talking to a tutor about different books.

Questions: table completion.

Section 4: a woman was describing a conference and introducing people who are going to give speeches on that day.

Questions: table completion.

Reading test

Passage 1: about the change in relationships between parents and children, and the development of parents’ understandings of children.

Passage 2: about malaria disease.

Passage 3: about the oil that leaked into the water because of oil tankers and how to deal with it.

Writing test

Writing Task 1 (a report)
There was a bar chart giving some information about different modes of transportation used by tourists from different nationalities, in New Zealand in 2004.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)
In some countries a number of animal and plant species is declining. What are the reasons? What can be done to solve this problem?
