Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a bar chart with some information on medical care in three European countries between the years 1980 and 2000.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Some people argue that companies and private individuals, rather than governments, should pay to clean up the pollution that they produced. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Speaking test

Part 1 (Interview)

– Can you tell me your full name, please?
– What shall I call you?
– Where are you from?
– Do you work or study?
– Do you like to shop at street markets or at a supermarket?
– What kind of things are usually sold at street markets?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Talk about the longest walk you’ve ever taken. Please say

– when it happened
– where you walked
– who you were with
– and explain how you felt about it.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– What outdoor activities do people like?
– Can you think of any outdoor activities other than sports?
– Are leisure activities important to everyone? Why or why not?
– What are the differences between the outdoor activities children used to do in the past and now?
