IELTS Writing Test – General Training
Writing task 1 (a letter)
You are attending part-time classes at a school but will be absent for a few days. Write a letter to your teacher. In your letter:
– Explain why you are taking part-time classes.
– Describe the reason for your absence.
– Explain how you plan to keep up with the missed lessons.
Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Writing task 2 (an essay)
Some people believe that senior managers should be warm and friendly toward their employees. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
