IELTS test in Australia – February 2011 (General Training)

IELTS exam below was shared by U from Australia, who remembered the topics in the Writing test and the questions in the Speaking test:

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a letter)

You found a small bag and want to return it to the owner. Please write a letter and say:
– Where did you find it?
– What is in the bag?
– How do you want it to be collected?

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Modern inventions are helpful, but they come with some disadvantages as well. Do you agree or disagree?

Speaking test

Interview

– Can I see your ID, please?
– Where do you live?
– Tell me about your home town.
– What is it famous for?
– When did you visit it last time?

Cue Card

Talk about a restaurant that you like to go to, please say:
– Who did you go with?
– Where is it?
– Why do you like this place?
– What is it famous for?

Discussion

– Would you recommend this restaurant?
– Lets talk about healthy food. What is healthy food for you?
– Are eating habits changing nowadays?
– Do people eat out more now than in the past?
– What part can schools play in the awareness of healthy food?
– Do advertisements bring any change in the food selection?
– How can a home made food bring more health into our life?
