IELTS Speaking Latest Questions Taiwan February 2025

When YL took the IELTS test in Taiwan earlier this week, he was asked the following questions in his speaking test:

Speaking test

Part 1 (Interview)

– Where do you currently live?
– How long have you been living there?
– What do you like most about your home?
– Is there anything you would like to change about where you live?
– Do you enjoy reading stories? Why or why not?
– What kind of stories do you like to read?
– Do you prefer reading stories in books or online?
– Have you ever written a story yourself?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Describe a special occasion that you celebrated. You should say:

– what the occasion was
– when and where it took place
– who was there

and explain why this occasion was special for you.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– How do people in your country usually spend their leisure time?
– Do you think people have more or less free time now compared to the past? Why?
– What are the benefits of having hobbies and leisure activities?
– How has technology changed the way people spend their free time?
– Do you think leisure activities should always be productive? Why or why not?
– Should schools and workplaces encourage people to have more leisure time?
