Hi Happiness, in the IELTS Speaking test answering with just ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ is never a good idea. The examiner is asking the questions to hear you speak, not because they want your opinion. So whenever you are answering ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, always make sure to follow with a few more sentences explaining your view on this subject at length.
