Speaking test

Part 1 (Interview)

– What is your name?
– Do you work or study?
– How do you get to work?
– Do you use public transport?
– Are you currently using public transport more than before?
– What is your reason for using public transport?
– Have you ever found using public transport inconvenient?
– Do you feel that the price of public transportation in your country fair?
– How could public transport be improved in your city or town?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Talk about a time when you received money as a gift from a family member. You should say

– when you received the gift
– why you receive it
– what you did with the money
– and explain how you felt about receiving money as a gift.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– Is gifting money commonly done in your country?
– Does money make a good a gift? Why or why not?
– What are some other gifts that people can give instead of money?
– In what situations do you think it is inappropriate to give money as a gift?
– Do you support gifting money to children? Why or why not?
– Do you think children should get paid for doing chores? Why or why not?
