Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– What is your name?
– Do you work or study?
– Why did you choose this field of work?
– What are your main responsibilities at work?
– Do you enjoy your job? Why or why not?
– What skills are most important for your job?
– How do you manage your responsibilities at work?
– Do you prefer working alone or in a team? Why?
– Would you like to change your job in the future?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe something you bought but had to return. You should say:
– what the item was
– where you bought it
– why you decided to return it
and explain how you felt about returning it.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– What are some common reasons why people return items after buying them?
– How has online shopping changed the way people buy products?
– Do you think advertisements influence people’s shopping habits? Why or why not?
– How can consumers be more responsible when making purchases?
– Do you think people buy more than they need because of advertising? Why?
– What impact does consumerism have on the environment?
