IELTS Results competition winners in December 2009

Today it is my pleasure to announce the winners of our best IELTS score competition, who submitted their IELTS results in December 2009. I am surprised and happy, because in December we had 6 winners: there were 5 people who got Band 8.0 in the Academic Module and one person who got 8.5 in General Training Module.

This is great news, because it means that now we have 6 potential sources of useful advice for IELTS preparation.

Without any further introduction please meet the IELTS winners of December 2009:

Han Tuyet Le from Vietnam, Band 8.5 in General module

Tran Quoc Duy from Vietnam, Band 8.0 in Academic module

Naidoo Latisha from South Africa, Band 8.0 in Academic module

Gangan Anuja from India, Band 8.0 in Academic module

Davinder Singh from India, Band 8.0 in Academic module

Garg Deepti from India, Band 8.0 in Academic module

From the bottom of my heart I’d like to thank everyone for participating. Congratulations to the winners! Your very own special certificates are on their way to your Inboxes and as always, your results will be displayed in IELTS-Blog hall of fame very soon.

And by our tradition that goes way back, I am asking the winners to share their best tips, that are responsible for their success. Please send me an email and answer this question: “What does it take to get a high score in IELTS?”. Your answers will be published to give everyone a chance to learn from the high achievers.
