Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a line graph showing the population growth in cities and towns of four countries, India, China, the US and Japan from 1980 to 2010 and a projection for 2030.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

In the modern world it is no longer necessary to use animals for food, clothing or medicine. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include examples from your own experience.

Writing task 1 (a letter)

The office where you work does not have a proper car park. Write a letter to your manager and say

– Explain the problem of no parking space available.
– Suggest a solution for the car park problem.
