Part 1 (Interview)

– What is your full name?

– What do you like or dislike about this place?

– Do you consider yourself a patient person?
– Why are people asked to be patient?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Talk about a place you like to go to and read, which is not at your home. Please say

– Where is it?
– How often do you go there?
– Why do you like to read there?

Part 3 (Discussion)

– What is so good about that library?
– Did you recommend it to anyone?
– Some critics say reading is better than writing, do you agree?
– Why do you think so?
– Some people say adults are better at reading than children.
– Do you agree or disagree with that? Why?

IELTS test in Australia – November 2019 (General Training)

Writing task 1 (a letter)

Your son studies a foreign language at school, but he needs some extra lessons. Write a letter to a teacher asking him/her for some help. In your letter

– Explain why your son needs help.
– Ask the teacher about his/her experience and methods.
– Suggest a possible schedule for extra lessons.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Some people are happy to spend their whole life living in the same area. Others prefer to live in many different places in their lifetime. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
