IELTS test in Vietnam – March 2022 (Academic Module)

We were given a table showing the income and expenditure of a public building with rooms for hire over a three-year period.

Nowadays not many young people choose to work in the farming industry. Why do you think that is? How could young people be encouraged to work in this industry?

– Do you remember your dreams after waking up?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Talk about a time when you visited a new place. Please say

– where it was
– when it was
– what you did there
– and explain how you felt about being there.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– What was your experience there like?
– Would you recommend it to others?
– Did you go there by yourself or with friends?
– Would you like to go there again?

IELTS Speaking test in Oman – March 2022

Speaking test

Part 1 (Interview)

– What is your full name?
– Can I see your ID?
– Where are you from?
– What color do you like?
– What color wouldn’t you use in your home?
– What do you prefer, typing or writing by hand?
– Which skill is more important, handwriting or typing?
– What do you find more time-consuming (typing/handwriting)?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Talk about a difficult decision that you once made. Please say

– what the decision was
– when you made the decision
– how long it took you to make the decision
– and explain how you feel about that decision now.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– What decisions do people in general make in their daily lives?
– Which is easier, making decisions independently or in a group?
– Why won’t many young people listen to their parents’ advice?
