Speaking test

Part 1 (Interview)

– What is your name?
– Where are you from?
– Do you work or study?
– Where did you complete your study?
– Do you think that your university is a good place to study, and why?
– Do you prefer to use a pen or pencil?
– What did you use in school, a pen or a pencil?
– Why do you prefer using a pen / pencil?
– How would you feel if someone gifted you a pen or pencil?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Describe a law that you think that should be implemented in your country. You should say

– what it is
– what changes it will cause
– whether it will be popular

and explain how it will affect society.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– How can children be taught about the law?
– In your opinion, how can a person be a good member of society?
– Do you think that it’s important to follow rules?
– Do you think that laws are the only way to make people behave?
– In your opinion, is school the only place where children can learn rules of behaviour?
– Can they also learn rules of behaviour somewhere else, and if so, where?
