Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given two separate bar charts. One was showing the participation in science study of male and female students between 1992 and 2012 at the university. The other chart was showing participation figures in three major science subjects, such as biology, physics and computer science for the same period of time.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Nowadays we can see definite signs of surplus production in almost every industry sector, and this is leading to environmental damage. What are some possible solutions to this situation?
