Section 3. Two students discussed their future presentation.

Reading test

Passage 1. Five different advertisements on parts and services.
Questions: multiple choice.

Passage 2. About the uniform policy at a company.
Questions: True/False/Not Given.

Passage 3. About the ancient navigation systems and methods.
Questions: True/False/Not Given, match information to paragraphs.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a letter)

Write a letter to your friend who lives in a different country about your plan to work overseas. In your letter say

– What jobs do you plan to do?
– Why do you want to work overseas?
– Ask for some information related to jobs, such as salary, working hours and so on.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Some people believe that education success mostly depends on teachers. Others, however, say that it depends more on the attitude of students and their willingness to study. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
