Interview

– What is your full name?

– Let’s talk about your morning routine.

Cue Card

Describe a time when you encouraged a person to do something they didn’t want to do. Please say

– Who is he/she?
– What did you encourage him/her to do?

– And explain why you encouraged him/her to do it.

– Why do parents encourage their children to do new things?
– In what ways do they motivate their children?
– Should parents reward children with prizes for doing well?

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a letter)

Your photograph won in a photography competition and will be presented in an exhibition. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter

– Describe the photograph you sent to the competition
– Tell him/her about the exhibition where your photo is presented
– Invite him/her to the exhibition.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

The developments in technology allow more and more machines to be used rather than human employees. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?
