Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a pie chart and a triple line graph. The pie chart showed the distribution of workforce which included three groups of people (born in Australia, English-speaking and non-English-speaking countries) in per cent in 2003. The line graph compared the unemployment rates in those groups between 1993 and 2003.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Schools should not force children to learn a foreign language, because some students don’t have a natural ability for languages. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
