We were given a table describing people who participated and finished marathons from 2008 to 2012. The table was divided into two groups, aged 15-36 and over 36.

Nowadays in many countries young people leave rural areas to study or work in cities. Is it a positive or negative development? Do you think the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

Writing task 1 (a letter)

There is a group of people in your community that needs help. Write a letter to your company director and say

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Some parents believe that reading entertainment books is a waste of time. In their opinion, children should only read serious, educational books. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include relevant examples from your own experience.
