Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given two bar graphs showing the percentage of girls and boys participating in sport competitions and cultural activities in the US from 1992 and until now.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Nowadays food travels thousands of miles before reaching consumers. It affects the agriculture and economy of the destination country, and for this reason people should prefer food produced by local farmers. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answers and include examples from your experience.

Writing task 1 (a letter)

Write a letter to the local council about the poor condition of roads in your area. Include the following in your letter:

– Explain the situation and roads’ condition.
– How does it affect you and other people?
– Suggest what measures need to be taken, in your opinion.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Nowadays an ordinary person can become popular through the Internet and TV media. Is it a positive or a negative development? Give your opinion and relevant examples.
