How i can make complex sentences
Hi Ayush, a complex sentence has an independent clause and a dependent clause, and they are connected. For example, this is a complex sentence: “While waiting at the bus stop, I saw a friend of mine from high school”. The independent clause is “I saw a friend of mine from high school” and the dependent clause is “While waiting at the bus stop” and the word that connects them is “while”. There are many words you can use to connect dependent and independent clauses, for instance “before, after, since, while, until, when” and more.

Task 1 (Information formal Letter)
You are visiting another town next month for a short break. Write a
letter to the tourist information Centre. In your letter
– Tell them how long you are staying
– Ask for some suggestions for what to do
– Find out if there are any local events happening at the time
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to ask information regarding the hilly area of Northern Pakistan to spend my short holidays.
I just got the approval of my long-awaited holidays to fulfill my dream of visiting this area to relax and see the local culture of hosting. My duration of stay will of two weeks and to avoid the wastage of time I need to get the important information to plan my visit. I heard Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation is supportive in providing the guidance to international tourists. I intend to seek information about the interesting spots to explore the local area. I heard a lot of stories and seen great scenery in pictures only from one of my friends who recently visited this area, but I want to visit myself to feel the same. I am also keen to participate in the local events to get familiar with the local culture over there such as polo, local dance, a matrimonial ceremony.
I look forward to this information but not later than 23 August 2020 as my holidays are starting from 07th of August. You can send this via email or fax mentioned below.
