Section 1. A diagram of a zoo was shown and the speaker gave a welcome talk to the tourists.

Section 2. An academic adviser spoke with a university student about the advantages and disadvantages of his current study and gave other options for the future.

Section 3, 4. Don’t remember.

Reading test

Passage 1. About bizen ware (a type of pottery) in Japan.
Questions: True/False/Not Given, match headings to paragraphs.

Passage 2. About task cooperation.
Questions: short-answer questions (no more than X words), match headings to paragraphs.

Passage 3. About various headings on pictographs, knots, and so on.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a line graph showing the percentage of students enrolled in different courses between 1985 and 2005 and a forecast for 2015.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Most people believe that a society will produce more happy people if there is little difference between earnings of the poor and rich members of society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
