IELTS test in Nigeria and Bangladesh – November 2010 (Academic Module)

IELTS exams in Nigeria and Bangladesh were identical, according to C and R (thanks for sharing!). Here is what we know:

Section 2. A man was talking to an academic counselor about taking courses.

Section 3. Different types of plant listed under Australian plants and where they should be planted in a garden. There was a diagram to fill in the location of the plants.

Section 4. Types of sports and different types of body build that help people perform better in each sport.

Reading test

Passage 1. Behavioral pattern of chimpanzees and how their culture is learned.

Passage 2. An article on multitasking and its physical, mental and health implications.

Passage 3. A plant that is considered extinct (some acacia plant) and its origin in the legume family (usually grows as a weed). Rediscovered in 1972 by Stephen Smith.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

There were 3 pie charts comparing the annual expenditure of students in countries A, B C on 5 broad categories, namely accommodation, food, books, leisure and other.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Few languages are increasingly spoken in different countries, while the usage of others is rapidly declining. Is this a positive or a negative development?

To congratulate the winners properly I am arranging for their special certificates to be sent via email, and their results will be displayed here.

We would love it if you, dear winners, shared your methods of studying that enabled you to achieve these remarkable Band Scores. Please send me an email to simone[at]IELTS-Blog.com and share.
