IELTS Speaking Assessment

Thank you for choosing our Speaking Assessment service.

You can take the Speaking test on a computer or on your mobile phone / tablet that has a microphone. Please set aside 30 minutes to do the test and be in a quiet room, preferably alone, so that you can concentrate. If you are taking the test on a mobile, visit this page to download IELTS-Blog App for Practice, start the app and tap on Speaking. If you are taking the test on a computer, keep reading.

To assess your Speaking skills, we need you to record your answers to one of the Speaking Tests below. You should speak for up to 1 minute in Part 1 of the Speaking test, and up to 2 minutes in Parts 2 and 3.

To record yourself you can use a computer that has a microphone connected or a mobile phone/device that can record your voice. If possible, be in a quiet room when recording to reduce background noise and make your speech easier to hear and evaluate. You can set a timer to 1 or 2 minutes to let you know when to stop talking.

Once your recordings are ready, please email us the answers in MP3 format along with your Invoice ID, to this email address: essays@ielts-blog.com

Our examiner will listen to your answers, award you an approximate band score and make suggestions for improvement. You will receive the evaluation report to your email. Easy!
